How well do you hear?
About six minutes on your own earphones. Each ear tested at six pitches from low to high, the way an audiologist does it, with your audiogram at the end.
Before you start
- Wired or Bluetooth earphones or headphones. Not the phone's speaker.
- A quiet room. Switch off the fan and the TV.
- Set your phone or computer volume to about 70 percent, and leave it there.
This is a screening, not a medical test. Earphones differ, so the result is a guide. Only an audiologist with a calibrated machine can measure your hearing exactly.

We will play a soft beep in one ear. This makes sure your earphones are the right way round.
